We knew a smoking gun existed and it was on the Joel Aaron show yesterday when Ken Cook asked Joel, “If the will of the people is rendered in Congress and Congress has not yet yeilded a result from the will of the people, why is the president, the head of the Executive Branch, is campaigning against (the will of the people)?”

It says the White House agreed to oppose any congressional efforts to use the government's leverage to bargain for lower drug prices or import drugs from Canada — and also agreed not to pursue Medicare rebates or shift some drugs from Medicare Part B to Medicare Part D, which would cost Big Pharma billions in reduced reimbursements.

Pretty odd, too, that Americans for Stable Quality Care (calling themselves a “grass roots” effort!) has been running commercials supporting Obamacare. Who supports Americans for Stable Quality Care? Well, in addition to SEIU which has no good name of late, we find none other than Big Pharma! That's right, one of the big supporters for ASQC is PhRMA!
