Upon exiting Independence Hall just after the signing of the Constitution that summer in 1776, Benjamin Franklin was asked by a woman nearby eagerly awaiting the disposition of the great meeting, she asked him “what is it you have given us sir?” and without hesitation he replied back “a republic… ma’am, if you can keep it” – There are those who will stop at nothing to redraw and revise our great republic into something it never was before… a dumbed-down electorate wholly dependant on government largess as the sum of our existence as American citizens, and I say no… to any voice projecting an expectation of what they feel liberty is… beneath the standard we are accustomed as Americans. It is high time to restore to the next generation the promise of freedom, happiness, prosperity, and economic fruitfulness along with the message of self-sufficiency we were passed by each successive generation before us until the dangerous days upon us now – on us this all depends.
